We present iSONIC FLEX, a groundbreaking product innovation. Our production systems for interior and plastic exterior components offer comprehensive coverage of all work processes - from precise assembly to component joining using modern processes such as ultrasonic riveting, hot air riveting and hot stamp riveting. iSONIC FLEX is developed and manufactured by SONOTRONIC. This flexible machining system uses state-of-the-art ultrasonic modules and robotics to efficiently transform manufacturing processes, from assembly to machining.

The fully automated production lines can be individually equipped with different processing modules. Both product-specific workrooms and variable robots are available for welding components. Thanks to a compact and standardized design, the workrooms can be interchanged or horizontally synchronized. This makes it possible to process different products on one line. The number of robots can be freely selected according to cycle time requirements. Eight robots are possible per robot module. The components are transported through the system in product carriers, which are moved by electrically driven roller conveyors. The carriers with fixtures, including sensors, are interchangeable.

Other functions that can be integrated in the iSONIC FLEX automated production line are: Design with base plates for up to four robots per side, interchangeable and retrofittable, automatic transport of components and tools from below or above possible, interchangeable fixtures including sensors for component variants, automated inspection of welding spots, robot handling with quick-change welding tool, optional xyz-cartesian robot welding, integration of manufacturer's tools, removal handling with or without lift function, tool change trolley with magnetic rollers and many more.
